iPhone and mobile camp in Atlanta (iPhoneCampAtl)

Posted on Sunday, July 19th, 2009

We got back today from Atlanta and going to the iPhoneCampAtl / mobileCampAtl.  It was the first time that they did the camp and @widgetpress did a nice job.  It is a lot of work to organize a conference.  We saw many presentations including:

  • Best practices for user interface design
  • iPhone Analytics
  • Increasing App Awareness
  • Better communication better developers and non-developers
  • JSON for iPhone
  • Developing apps with Push Notifications
  • iPhone in the Enterprise
  • Parsing XML on the iPhone

We met many great people and had a good time.  There were tips exchanged, tools discussed and more.  I told several people we would compile our notes.  I have attached them to this post below.  Also, I am now thinking that we will host an iPhoneCampAtl/MobileCampAtl in Birmingham, AL.  If you want to know when that is announced follow us on twitter or send me your email.

Sincerely,

Appsolute Genius
