I bought your program yesterday and I only have a clock display. I cannot go to alarms, etc.

The info button at the bottom right corner of the screen will take you to the settings screen. We have had a few people say that this button is hard to press, and have fixed the issue for our update that will be submitted to Apple for approval within the next two days. For now, please try pressing this button multiple times and it will accept your tap. Note that the double-tap will dim the screen. If you have further problems please email us at support@appsolutegenius.com.

purchased on itunes..and the info key only works sometimes to set alarm ect… when will update be avail?

  • Michael Waldier says: July 26th, 2009 at 7:53 pm

Yes, the settings button is very difficult to activate. I’m glad to hear it’s been fixed (submitted?).

The app site now says you can use tunes from the iTunes Music Library. Is there an update I’ve missed? I cannot find this feature.

Also, how does one delete an alarm once set? I’ve tried to no avail. I can turn off an alarm, delete the name, etc. I cannot find a way to delete an alarm.

    Thanks for your assistance.

I purchased this app today and I do not have an option to select music from my iPod. Is there something I need to do to enable this setting?

Although I upgraded my ipod touch to OS 3.0, I have not been able to set iPod music in my sound preferences for any alarm. ¿What is the problem?

It has just come to our attention that when we submitted our update for approval, the current app description was changed to use the description for our update. Our apologies and we are working to correct this immediately. The new description should not have been showing until the update was approved by Apple, which we are still waiting on. We expect the update to be approved and available in the store any day now, so please be patient. iTunes music will be available when the update is approved. We are extremely sorry for the confusion and are working to correct this issue with Apple immediately.

We have implemented the “swipe-to-delete” approach found in many stock apps like email. You simply swipe your finger left to right over the row containing the alarm you wish to delete. It should then give you a delete button on that row to confirm the action. Let us know if this is not working or you have any further trouble with it.

Should we demand a refund or will you give us a date for the update?

  • saint says: August 6th, 2009 at 11:06 pm

Alarm doesn’t sound when in silent mode. (Advertised)
No alarm verification, type in a word or something. (Advertised)
–I’m guessing these are coming in the update as well?–

Info/Settings button is easy to push when in landscape mode!!!

As mentioned in the iPhone ratings, “all this app needs are some different faces and it’s a 5 star app!” (Once all the other stuff is fixed)

Hi. Wondering if you can add sleep timer which plays music so a user can sleep to and wake to music ?

  • Andria says: August 7th, 2009 at 1:10 pm

I would LOVE to be able to give you a date for when the update will be available. We have submitted it to Apple and we are literally just waiting on them to approve it. They do not tell us when that will be or give us any status updates. It just appears in the store as an available update one day once they approve it. Based on our past experience, though, we expect that this will be available any day now. We submitted over two weeks ago. Please bear with us, and once again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your input! This has been added to the feature list for the next version update. We are also planning to add some theme selections to the display since that has been the number one request so far.

  • Andria says: August 7th, 2009 at 1:11 pm

Yes, the alarm sounding when in silent mode is also part of the update.

The verification should be working as described though, as this was part of the first version. Can you provide some specifics on how you have your settings so I can help you figure out this issue?

I just loaded the app last night. I am eager expecting the update to allow me to use my playlists. When it comes and if it works this will indeed be the best clock I have found.

One other quirk. When I open the clock and try to click on information it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to respond.

I will give 5 stars when/if the update does all it says it does.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your input. We are eagerly awaiting the approval of the 1.1 release of our app. In addition to your music, you will be allowed to lock the screen and still have the alarm respond. As soon as it is ready, we will let everyone know. If you would like us to work with you on the delay on the info button, email us at support@appsolutegenius.com. I will note that this button is difficult to press in the 1.0 release of our app and often takes several tries. This has also been fixed in the next update.

    Thanks again.

Hi. I bought your program couple days ago. When selecting music, it won’t play when the alarm supposed to go off… Animals and other sounds works fine. What’s wrong?

  • Andria says: September 26th, 2009 at 9:58 pm

Have you tried a different song or does it have a problem when playing any song from your iPod? Please email us at support@appsolutegenius.com if you are still having issues with this and we will be able to assist you better. Thanks.

I found that the iPod music as your alarm only works with songs from iTunes and not downloads!! And I Agree with Tom a sleep timer to fall asleep to any music(not only from iTunes like the alam) should be added I really would love that and I bet a bunch of others want to do the same without leaving there iPods on the whole night!!kinda like going green you can say!
