This Birmingham-based company designs applications, better known as apps, for iPhones and other mobile devices, and counts among its clients companies such as McAlister’s Deli and CBS television.

Create an app for that, Cauble advises clients to set clear objectives before developing an app. He said the recent explosion of “smart phones” that combine Web, data, voice and now app capabilities has spiked interest from business owners. “We’ve seen a shift,” Cauble said. “The general business community is coming along and deciding it’s time.”
